unity3d - How to import C4D Animations Into Unity? -

the following post collection of replies on unity forums.

is familiar possible ways import c4d animation emitter/metaball or besides rigged bones unity? tried import flame-looking animation based on ej hassenfratz's tutorial http://www.eyedesyn.com/2015/05/07/creating-2d-cartoon-fire-effects-in-cinema-4d/. used nitrobake bake animation keyframes , exported .fbx, when imported unity no animation show. told there ways overcome such problems using unity extensions person busy thought should ask here on unity forums.

edit: should mention have imported bone animations before or simple rotation/position/scale keyframed animations. if wants test how import share c4d project.

a person suggested megafiers unity extension (megacache more accurate)

my following 2 responses:

i might go fuc*ing crazy trying import animation i'm positive i'm gonna @ least manage it. felt need update thread in case else searching around. c4d doesn't support .pc2 or .mdd file formats. there's mdd writer , mdd reader on @ animationsnippets.com. sadly it's not compatible c4d r16. sometime tomorrow i'll have r13 installed on pc , test if mdd writer works there. assuming it's working i'm gonna give megafiers - megacache go see if works.

update: installed r13, still mddwriter doesn't show up. why megafiers mention (in youtube video) "we added .mdd file format support c4d" when there's no freaking native export of file format , no god damn plugin works. real no word can describe rage right now. it's been 5-6 years since people started complaining pla animations , unity hasn't done single update on area , doubt since there's 1 annoying person demanding this. pfff know more. don't bother mentioning create custom script on c4d or unity, if had kind of knowledge wouldn't whining here.

php - Best Light server (Linux + Web server + Database) for Raspberry Pi -

i install web server database on raspberry pi (little computer). computer has 1gb ram. i want know best combination: linux distribution , web server , dbms run local server multiple users minimal latency, use php on server. , best settings performance , not have bugs (memory usage, disable plugin, disable service, etc)? i thought light debian , lighttpd server , sqlite database. solution? i think lighttpd + sqlite great choice. linux distro, debian @ centos or tiny core linux , although i'm not sure of compatibility pi. obviously, can't go wrong raspbian if want use in production , more stable performance, few more pi's , set them in cluster .
