after looking @ this blog post, still unclear whether following syntax means slice of pointers or pointer slice.

foo  []*int

which 1 it, , general rule of thumb case?

this slice of pointers, read left right: ([]) slice of (*) pointers (int) integer. on other hand, *[]int (*) pointer ([]) slice of (int) integers.
